“All art is a kind of confession, more or less oblique.
All artists, if they are to survive, are forced, at last, to tell the whole story; to vomit the anguish up.
~James Baldwin”
Lamont Draper Jr, a freelance artist based and living out of Northern New Jersey. After graduating high school in 2006, Lamont went on to further my education at Union County College, though leaving the institution without a degree within the school excelling beyond the academia by setting up fashion shows and art programs for the school.
After ending my college career, Lamont pursued a freelance career, developing techniques, skills and trades to one day become an artist the can manipulate the fine art realm and one of pop culture icons and influence using real life experiences to render these details.
Lamont’s goal is to help change the art world, help those who can’t decide their path find something meaningful in the world of art.
Lets broaden the lines of the horizon together.
