Made it through another week. fall is looking like a real community building exercise. I appreciative of every opportunity allotted to me even those missed or passed over, i can’t help but learn from it and apply it elsewhere.

everything is transferable knowledge.

With that being sad, shoutout to the homie Shaun for putting me on game with Neighbors studio.

We took a trip up to Jersey City for a kind of seminar, more like FREE GAME. Being a creative one of the many questions i always come back to is how to major full time artist get the money they need to create AND house their creations. I know some like Ricardo Roig have been blessed with enough work to be able to afford a studio of their own to work out of and there are other that look at establishments like PES (Project for Empty Space) to help.

With all these questions i thought i’d have to do long and hard research about the ins and outs of funding but i appreciate other creatives coming together to share this knowledge. often times Fear stops us from learning or doing or receiving and i’m glad i learned that i was not alone in this fear. acknowledging that with others helped me come up with a solid plan to achieve the finding i need to create an open space studio for like minded creatives and i look forward to documenting the journey forward.
